WHAT TO EXPECT
This acne-fighting therapy works immediately to kill acne-causing bacteria, peel away impactions and refine pores. This product will bleach colored sheets and towels.
TIPS FOR BEST USE
Some temporary irritation is normal. Start the therapy slowly.
Apply ice to affected area for 1-3 minutes prior to applying BP 10% gel Medication. This reduces inflammation and promotes the penetration of the Benzoyl Peroxide.
Patch test on wrist before using.
For sensitive but acne-prone skin, leave on for 15 minutes after cleansing the face. Rinse off with water and continue with the rest of the regimen.
Do not spot treat. It takes 30 days for a pimple to form and come to the surface of the skin. If spot treating, the antibacterial properties of Benzoyl Peroxide are not preventing future breakouts and this may cause hyperpigmentation in Fitzpatricks 4-6.
Pair with BP 3% Wash, Normalizing Tonic, Derm-A-Gel, and Day Treatment Lotion SPF 15 for an acne starter regimen for Fitzpatricks 1-3.
Use a white towel when cleansing the face to avoid bleaching fabric.
May be paired with retinoids, glycolic acid toners, and Mandelic Acid toners, and corrective serums.
Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, or mouth. Discontinue use for 1-2 days if undue peeling develops in sensitive areas. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat. This product will bleach colored sheets and towels. Avoid the sun.
